24 - Film School

The number 24 is a reference to the foundation of cinematic language – twenty-four frames per second, which transform a static image into motion. The heart of the faculty is the atrium – an open vertical space that connects all levels of the building and at the same time creates a place for gathering and tranquility. A red staircase rises through this space, an architectural feature that becomes a kind of backbone of the school – functional, expressive, and symbolic. Two key spaces for education and creation – the film studio and the screening room – are located opposite each other in a layout that creates a tension. Vertical columns break the monotony of the façade and disrupt the horizontality of the school. 24 is not just a number. It is a value through which images tell stories.
