New District and Hospital Letňany

This project presents an urban design concept for a new district in Letňany. The proposal responds to the need to transform a large area and is based on principles of sustainability. It includes a 1,000-bed hospital, new housing, administrative buildings, schools, transport and recreational infrastructure. A central park corridor runs through the site, following the historical pilgrimage route to Stará Boleslav, including two preserved chapels. The concept emphasizes green-blue infrastructure, a walkable city model, and noise mitigation measures—such as an earth berm with a cycle path and recreational use.
