Annotation
Jarda is taking down his extensive collection of erotic calendars from the walls of the concrete batching plant on Rohan Island, because it will soon be closing. The Rohan brownfield will become a flood park, behind which a new urban district will grow, and all that will be left of the concrete plant is paved ground, massive flood defences and steel. I am using all of this to design a multifunctional, cultural, sports, leisure and recreation complex set in a future park. I am putting a roof on the landmark, which is a hundred and fifty metre long bridge for transporting aggregate, and creating a fully accessible open hall, a covered square that can exist on its own, but also provide space for events of all kinds.
