Busy but deserted, Povltavská. An oasis is being created between a busy highway and the student dormitories. A dirty muddy oasis, but an oasis nonetheless. Or rather, an army camp. Inspired by the mundane and a bit of everything. That's what farming means to me. I use wood, sheet metal, polycarbonate and a deep crimson red. I divide the whole plot into several parts according to the way it's farmed. The fields, orchards and permaculture are taken care of by an agricultural centre with workshops and accommodation for students on work experience. The community garden is tended by gardeners and enthusiasts. A canteen serving students and everyone who passes by rounds off the whole campus.
