Annotation
Very few elements of urban morphology withstand the development of the urban environment and the changing demands placed upon it over time. Buildings are demolished, new ones are built, and others are left to decay. In contrast, streets and public spaces tend to remain constant—provided they are inherently well-designed and thus capable of withstanding societal pressures.
My goal, therefore, was to approach the site in Přeštice as something that may change its function multiple times, yet should not lose its essence. At the same time, it should form a meaningful conclusion to the town.
