The Second Theater

The outdoor foyer is an integral part of the Turnov Theatre's identity. So why build an extension over it? People come here during intermissions, smoke, meet, or enjoy a drink. That's why the new extension, which serves an important function, is moved to the courtyard and incorporates the adjacent older building. However, the most significant transformation takes place directly in front of the theatre, where a spacious entrance is created through the piazzetta. A box office is located on the ground floor, with a foyer above formed by galleries — together creating a single, interconnected space that also opens up and communicates with the street.
