AUTOMOBILE GARAGES BISKUPCOVA, RE-USE CENTER

The diploma thesis deals with the solution of Biskupcova Street in Žižkov and the building of the former car garages Biskupcova 21/18. Currently, the street is not conceptually designed and its entire length serves primarily for parking. By moving part of the parking spaces to the building of the former garages, there will be potential for improving the quality of the street's public space as a meeting place for the residents of the neighborhood. The aim of the project is therefore to consider the arrangement of the street profile, the solution of the courtyard as a semi-public space and to examine the conversion of the garage building, which would better serve the needs of the residents of the neighborhood.
