Elementary School Křížala

The new elementary school in Turnov, designed for 750 pupils and located at the transition between housing estates and family homes, responds organically to its surroundings through its undulating form, cascading setbacks of floors, and use of the natural terrain. The central atrium, serving as the heart of the school, connects all levels and brings daylight deep into the layout. A combination of exposed concrete and brick cladding creates a rhythmical façade.
