České Budejovice - Nový Bor

I present the vision of the modern urban district Nový Bor, located on the outskirts of České Budějovice. It was created as a response to the need for quality and sustainable housing for current and future generations. The territory is dominated by a vast city park, which forms the green heart of the entire district – a place for relaxation, movement and meeting. The space is designed for pedestrians and cyclists, in the spirit of the 5-minute city principle. As a reminder of the past of the town, I am leaving the historic chimney from the former Vráto heating plant on the edge of the park. The new quarter in České Budějovice is a place where community, nature and modern city life come together. A place where you live, work and live well.
