Annotation
The urban concept for Janské Lázně is based on respect for local tradition and the spa character of the town. The proposal aims to support year-round tourism while reducing traffic load through the introduction of a new public transport system – a cog railway. The design includes two new tourist hubs, completion of street profiles, underground parking, and adaptation strategies in response to climate change – transforming winter areas into bike parks, hiking and running trails, and a summer camp.
