Exhibition of Studio Projects

Annotation

The proposal addresses the transformation of the northern diameter of Prague, from Evropská Street through Svatovítská Street to Milady Horákové Street. The main motif is the former Buštěhrad railway, which is buried underground to create a pedestrian and cycling path. It connects the area like beads on a thread - places with different scale, expression and function. The trajectory of the trail is crossed by transversal axes and landscape routes towards the Divoká Šárka River. The design does not create a fast traffic corridor, but encourages movement that slows down, perceives and responds to the urban environment.
