New Kačerov

The New Kačerov project addresses the transformation of a problematic area into a new urban district focused on high-quality housing, accessibility, and sustainability. The design is based on the principle of centrality – the area is divided into five zones, interconnected by a linear park that also links to the surrounding neighborhoods and the Krč Forest. The central zone, featuring a transport terminal and the main square, plays a dominant role. A key element of the project is the transformation of the 5. května expressway into a vibrant urban boulevard.
