The Comprehensive Project assignment provided an opportunity to explore furniture design and production beyond the scope of Architecture and urbanism program. A folding chair was designed for KAM Ústí (Office of the City Architect of Ústí nad Labem) and for an exhibition focused on promoting architecture and urban development. The main challenge was to combine ergonomics, simplicity, and compactness into one functional unit. The result is a chair that folds into a flat object, making it easy to transport and store.
