Day care ČK, Český Krumlov

The building is designed as a set of three separate buildings in the immediate vicinity of the historical center of Český Krumlov, which are connected to each other by a neck - with vertical and horizontal communication and sanitary facilities. In the first part, there is a day room designed for leisure activities. The second building is used for rest and regeneration - it includes a relaxation room and a rehabilitation room for exercise. The third building is reserved for health care, with an infirmary and space for a doctor. The proposal respects the character of the surrounding buildings and works with the context of the place. Traditional architectural elements are sensitively connected with a modern approach, emphasis on functionality, light, accessibility and overall comfort.
