NEW DISTRICT AND HOSPITAL LETŇANY
Annotation
The design of the new urban district in Letňany focuses on functional zoning, quality public space, and connection to public transport. The central feature is a city hospital with a research center, directly linked to the Letňany metro station. The area includes housing, schools, kindergartens, parking structures, and greenery - from linear parks to green roofs. A key element is the preservation of small sacral structures - chapels along a historic route. Their position shaped the composition and organic form of the central park. The project respects the spiritual and historical identity of Letňany while serving residents, visitors, and workers.
