Tajemná Povltavská is a proposal for a new urban district on the right bank of the Vltava River between Libeň, Holešovice and Troja. It transforms a congested and unused area into a lively garden district with rich blue-green infrastructure, civic amenities and pleasant public space. It restores the historic arm of the Vltava River, partially loosens the flood embankment and naturally connects the city with the countryside. It addresses mobility in the city, strengthening pedestrian and cycling transport. The project seeks a balance between urbanity and nature, history and future, infrastructure and human scale. It simply creates a city to live in. To live, to recreate, to breathe.
