NEW CENTER OF LETNANY

The site is located in the northeastern part of Prague, near city districts Prague 9 (Prosek), Prague 18 (Letňany), and Prague 19 (Kbely). It forms a transition between urban development and the open landscape to the north. Two small Baroque chapels – Jeníkovská and Kájovská – part of the 17th-century Marian Pilgrimage Route from Prague to Stará Boleslav, are preserved here. The aim is to create a compact, residential, and sustainable structure that connects with the surrounding area. The new district combines housing with public spaces, greenery, and civic amenities for 27,220 inhabitants. A new hospital is planned in the northwestern part of the area.
