Annotation

The city is composed as a tension between human presence and landscape. It brings a rigid grid into the terrain, one that does not easily submit to rocks and slopes. Straight streets and defined blocks contrast with the irregularity of the relief. Where the city breaks against the land, voids, glimpses, and unexpected spaces emerge. The city does not grow freely but seeks balance, settling in. It is a form placed into the landscape, yet it remains in dialogue with it. It neither fully adapts nor rejects. It is quietly present in transitions, in shadows, in the cracks between structure and earth. Here, the grid begins to turn into fabric.
