Reliefs of touch

Hana Heinrichová

Annotation

The Prague skyline feels divided. On one hand, it offers beautiful views of the historic city center, on the other, it’s disrupted by billboards. Yet the city still holds many spaces with potential to be revived through art. The meadow near Dívčí Hrady provides an open area with panoramic views—an ideal location for an open-air sculpture gallery. Such a gallery would offer a new way to encounter art beyond traditional indoor spaces. The concept transforms the site into an unusual experience, inspired by the Prokop Valley’s relief reflected in shaped terrain, sculpted into hills and passageways. These let visitors explore art from multiple perspectives. The site includes a central amphitheater and an underground exhibition space, all set within a green environment.
