City center - Ústí nad Labem

Ústí nad Labem is a statutory city in the Ústí nad Labem Region, located on a key transport axis between Prague and Dresden. The city center reflects historical upheavals and post-war reconstruction—WWII bombing and major 20th-century renovations reshaped its historic core. A chemical plant near the center provides jobs and economic value, but also creates aesthetic and structural challenges. This project aims to better connect the city center with the plant, improve access from Tovární and Panská streets, and strengthen links to the new train station, now a vital gateway to the city.
