Přeštice Boulder

Annotation
My inspiration was the Boulderbar Seestadt in Vienna, where I was impressed by the openness and visual connections between spaces. From the entrance, it’s possible to see almost the entire bouldering area, allowing visitors to be either passive observers or easily engage. I aimed to minimize partitions and doors to keep the spaces airy and connected, with maximum natural light for a pleasant atmosphere. I wanted to preserve the existing hall with minimal interventions. The irregular plot introduced aggressive geometry, which I softened with semicircular and circular elements that create harmony, improve orientation, and add dynamism. For the extension’s exterior, I chose weathered steel panels to contrast with the hall’s stable façade and give a visually older appearance.
