ORTODOX CHURCH OF MILOVICE

The design of the Orthodox Church on the outskirts of Milovice presents a modern take on traditional Orthodox elements. The exterior of the church refers to the classic silhouette of Orthodox temples, while the interior of the church is enlivened by original icons by contemporary Ukrainian artists, connecting spiritual tradition with current work. The design also includes a community center, creating opportunities for the general public to meet, accommodation for pilgrims, and an apartment for the priest designed to create the necessary sense of privacy in a public space.
