Annotation

I draw on this abstract and let it guide me in designing a site on the site of a former lignite mining operation. The new Míza becomes a site for children who lack a relationship with nature. It is an environment where they will learn what it takes to take care of nature and take a break from the digital. Here, children set up a forest nursery, make bird feeders in the workshops and observe the wildlife that comes in, repair forest trails, and collect traps. On hot summer days they cool off in the reservoir, and during storms they have somewhere to hide. Staying in this area teaches them patience, independence, teamwork, responsibility.
