Northern 6,892,160 m2 of the Vltava river

The project focuses on the urban design of the Vltava River corridor in the northern part of Prague. The area lies mostly within a flood zone, which significantly influences its use and the overall design concept. The main idea is to integrate housing and recreation with an emphasis on direct access to the river. The design includes various types of residential development - blocks with active ground floor, solitary apartment buildings and viladoms - and creates high quality public spaces including embankments and wharves. Landscape, green space and blue-green infrastructure play an important role as part of the sustainable development of the area.
