Musical nest in Holešovice

The concert hall with public rehearsal rooms is a pleasant environment for professional and amateur musicians. Its attractive location by the Vltava River in Prague's Holešovice attracts passers-by not only to cultural experiences. Elegant columns of a high order stretch along the river, creating a colonnade with a view of the river and seating in a café. The large concert hall with a capacity of 366 people allows for performances of larger ensembles and symphony orchestras. Two large rehearsal halls and thirteen smaller rehearsal rooms are a space for practising for individuals and ensembles. The building is alive even on days when no concert is taking place. The concept of the building is a concrete slab carried on columns, hiding the winding walls of the music house beneath.
