Movement along Otakarova and its surroundings is nearly impossible today for anyone not sitting in a 2-ton vehicle. In an ideal world, there would be no need to separate people from cars. However, a large number of vehicles travel through Otakarova on their way to the city center. Until society learns to switch to public transport for moving around the city, it is necessary to take care of pedestrians in this area. The first intervention is a footbridge stemming from the planned A3 cycle route along the railway line. This bridge spans the busy intersection at a safe height from one side to the other, where the Botič stream awaits (currently hidden from view among parking lots and garages).The barrier formed by the railway is disrupted at this point by a tunnel that connects to Vršovice.
