KOM-TURN(off)

The community center is located in the urban heritage zone of Turnov, which called for a sensitive urban and architectural approach. The design is divided into two distinct parts: a street-facing brick building that respects the rhythm and materials of the historic surroundings, and a single-story rear wing with wooden cladding that blends with the smaller scale of the inner block. The project connects historical context with present-day needs, offering an open, welcoming space for community life. Its flexible rooms support a wide range of uses — a place where you COME and TURN OFF your mind.
