Teatro Segreto

The design for the summer theatre naturally extends another quadrant of the Castle Garden in Český Krumlov, gently integrating it into the existing forest vegetation.The theatre is not a dominant feature—instead, it remains completely hidden within the landscape.The vegetation surrounding the theatre consists of the existing woodland, complemented by naturally occurring tree species of the region and native shade-loving shrubs.A circular gravel path runs through the entire area, from which four additional paths branch off naturally. The terrain of the garden is shaped to follow the existing topography as closely as possible, with all supporting facilities subtly integrated into the landscape so as not to disturb the overall atmosphere of the place.
