Conversion of Holešovice power plant - ARC gallery

The Křižík Power Plant in Holešovice has a long industrial history, referring to the era of the Industrial Revolution and the transition to modern urban infrastructure. In this architectural project there is an ideal fusion between this unique historical building and a modern urban gallery. The design respects the original historic quality of the entire building and thus retains its authentic character. The building is complemented by modern contrasting extensions that architecturally follow the original traditional articulation of the historic facade. The gallery spaces are divided according to size into S - M - L - XL exhibition spaces, which lead you to a section of a separate tower allowing access through a dance studio to a luxurious rooftop café with a hanging bar.
