RAMPART

On the site where the largest of the five Přemyslid palaces once stood at Vyšehrad—later destroyed by the Hussites—a new museum dedicated to the Přemyslid dynasty is nearing completion along the historic fortifications. Today, only fragments of medieval foundations and a well-preserved Gothic cellar remain. This cellar, still connected to the surrounding terrain, offers a unique opportunity to link it with a new building that could unite the former fortified settlement with the Baroque ramparts. If such a structure were to be built—what should the castle become?
