Exhibition of Studio Projects
ON FEET IN STONE

Annotation
The project presents a self-sufficient seasonal dwelling designed with respect for nature and the surrounding landscape of the Křivoklátsko Protected Area. It serves as a base for natural scientists and conservationists to study local flora and fauna without impacting the environment. Built from natural materials such as wood, hempcrete, and clay plaster, the façade is treated using the Shou Sugi Ban technique. Independent modules, connected by an external spiral staircase, contain both living and working spaces. Entirely off-grid, the building symbolizes a thoughtful connection between architecture and ecology.
