Wildlife Rescue Station Křivoklátsko

Annotation

The wildlife rescue station complex is located in a quiet clearing near the village of Karlova Ves, within the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area, near a body of water that enhances the natural character of the site. It consists of five main structures: the rescue station building, a residential house for the station worker, outdoor enclosures and an aviary, temporary accommodation for forestry workers in mobile housing units, and basic visitor facilities. Except for the concrete block enclosures, all buildings are designed as unobtrusive wooden structures with green roofs that blend harmoniously into the landscape. The site also features six spacious wildlife enclosures, accessible like an educational nature trail. The design emphasizes simplicity and envienvironmental sensitivity.
