Conversion of the Holešovice power plant

The aim of this project was to preserve the historical character of the building while adapting it to its current use. The exterior underwent a sensitive renovation – the original facades were restored and the surroundings were cleaned, thus returning the building to its distinctive industrial appearance. In the interior, we tried to preserve as many original elements and materials as possible, which underline the character of the building and its authenticity, but at the same time we tried to create a modern space inside and thus highlight the contrast between history and the present.
