Annotation

This object is a critique of the phenomenon of planned product obsolescence. The ordinary jar, an object that could last for many years, becomes a disposable product. In doing so, it deliberately highlights the absurdity of artificial 'innovations' and marketing strategies which, instead of bringing about real improvements, only lead to a shorter life and more waste. The project carries the slogan "Buy, use and throw away", which ironically sums up the consumer attitude of today. The aim is not only to entertain, but also to provoke reflection on sustainability and the meaningfulness of product design.
