Redevelopment of the Holešovice Power Plant - Meeting Point

The Meeting Point design works with the reawakened Holešovice power plant, which is newly repurposed as a conference center. The concept involves inserting individual modules into the main hall of the power plant, along with a subtle hotel extension featuring a hidden, light-filled atrium within. The site is intended to serve as a meeting point not only for conference and meeting attendees, but also for the general public. I approach the existing building with care and respect, honoring its original character and striving to preserve its soul. The design does not deny that the power plant has already lived through several lifetimes, but rather emphasizes that a new one is just beginning.
