MSTĚNICE WATERWORKS

One of the key elements ensuring the autonomous functioning of the municipality is a source of drinking water. The waterworks serves to filter and distribute water, both into the internal water network within the platform and to an outdoor tap that lets residents fill their own containers. The water is pumped from a deep borehole. Next to the technological section is the control center, the heart of the operation. Here a complete computer system and controls ensure safe, efficient running of the plant. Water is conveyed through the piping by gravity, because the reservoir sits above all buildings in the complex. The entire building belongs to the “New Village” complex, placed on an 8-meter-wide platform raised above ground level. The platform stands above the terrain and forms a firm base.
