Boundlessely

The city is disappearing. Constantly. It is being lost under a layer of new, clean, sterile development, which, with building regulations in one hand and hygiene regulations in the other, is steamrolling old structures, values, and ecosystems. This rebuilding is currently happening in Smíchov, and although it has some positives, it is necessary to respond to it with some kind of opposition that questions the absoluteness of developers' values. This project uses the isolation of the area, where it creates a world that is not governed solely by human values of order and control. It represents a space whose quality are not based only on novelty, cleanliness, efficiency, and predictability. It tries to show that humans are not the only actors in the city, nor its creators.
