The forest is a classroom, the pavilion a roof over conversation. Sometimes children sit here, sometimes music, sometimes just silence. The property is located in the village of Nemojov near Dvůr Králové nad Labem, close to the Les Království dam. In 2020, a windstorm struck the proposed location in the municipal forest, causing numerous uprooted trees and essentially flattening the entire forest like dominoes. The site is now slowly recovering. However, only one circular path left by an excavator remains of the dense network of footpaths. In my design, I would like to bring life back to this place.
