A utopian vision of affordable student housing...
The Utopia.a project proposes a student residential complex on the Vltava embankment, incorporating the revitalization of Lannova Park. The concept responds to the linear waterfront and the natural landscape through a stepped massing strategy. The building encloses the park, defines the street, and utilizes setback floors to create habitable terraces with panoramic views of Prague.
The facility provides 490 beds, including 15 accessible units. Residents benefit from spacious study halls, shared kitchens, and comunity areas. The project integrates into the urban fabric via an active frontage with retail units and a public café situated on one of the roof terraces.
