PODBABA A

The proposed residential building is located at a tram turning loop in Podbaba, close to a railway stop, public transport and the river. Set between two adjacent buildings, it responds to the urban context of Dejvice and the Baba villa district. The seven-storey building includes commercial spaces on the first two floors and apartments on the upper five, mainly smaller units. Entrances are accessible from both sides in response to the terrain. The open, permeable ground floor supports movement and links public spaces. Brickwork relates to the urban fabric, while metal elements reference nearby railway tracks.
