The sailboat moves quietly and easily through the water, in rhythm with the wind and waves. Sailing is not just a means of transportation, but a state of mind—a slowing down, a focusing, and a return to simplicity. A single-hull sailboat, like a small, mobile home, offers a refuge that constantly changes with its surroundings, yet remains a stable point in the middle of the open water.
The architectural design of the sailboat's interior works with distinctly curved elements that respond to the geometry of the hull while softening the overall impression of the space. The built-in elements, seating, and storage elements are designed with a suppression of sharp edges; smooth curves create a sense of continuity and visual calm.
