ROHAN

The proposed building has five above-ground floors with a residential roof and one underground level with parking shared by the entire block. The ground floor includes commercial units and a main entrance with a passage to the courtyard, supporting an active parterre and urban permeability. The second to fourth floors each contain four 3+kk apartments and one 1+kk apartment. The fifth floor offers three 3+kk apartments, one 2+kk apartment and one smaller 1+kk unit, reduced due to the residential roof. The roof is designed as a shared space for residents, with an open gazebo mainly used in summer. The façade combines grey stone cladding and black ceramics, reflecting the industrial character of Karlín and fitting into the urban structure of Rohanský island.
