Backyard

My goal was to create a place for all the people living around so they have safe space for spending their free time. I wanted to expand existing wetlands and bring back more naural and rural character that Zbraslav once had by using local trees and vegetation. Both parks are conected by a promenade for pedestrians, which is merging the whole place into one. The parks are designed for people living around - from families with small children to residents of retirement home that is right next to the park. Everyone can find their own space, whether is for exploring, hiding, resting, observing or doing sports. It is one big safe community backyard for all the people living around, where they can meet, talk and be closer to each other.
