Administration building

Annotation

Nové Předlice represent an area that today stands outside the spotlight, despite being located at one of the city’s main entrances. The space lacks a clear order and a legible meaning; it is perceived more as a necessary transit route than as an urban place. The aim was to transform this neglected locality into a comprehensible urban ensemble that defines the entrance to Ústí nad Labem and creates a new quality of everyday environment. The building is conceived to feel light and open—thanks to its glazed façade, it reflects the surrounding environment while creating a sense of transparency and connection with the city. The design includes three “green floors”—roof terraces and gardens that provide space for relaxation and social interaction.
