The proposed project is located in the Nusle district of Prague, between Bratří Synků Square and Otakarova Street. The site has significant potential but currently functions mainly as a transit area, lacking a clear structure and high-quality public space. The aim of the proposal is to develop this potential and improve the quality of the area in terms of both residential use and pedestrian movement.
The project complements the existing perimeter block development and clarifies the urban structure. A key element of the design is a passage that connects the busy streets with a calm, renovated inner courtyard, which functions as a semi-public space for residents and visitors. The passage also responds to the high pedestrian traffic in the area.
