Steela is a robust chair made of bent and laser-cut steel. Its massive steel form is stabilized by ropes that replace traditional joints. The design is based on a brutalist approach, openly acknowledging the production process and the rawness of the material, while still providing comfortable and ergonomic seating. The armrests were created directly from the cutouts of the side parts of the structure, eliminating waste and promoting material economy.
