CHESSBOARD

The project is based on regularity, symmetry and repetition, creating a clear order of the ensemble, subtly disrupted by variations that give each building its own identity. All buildings are derived from a 16 × 16 m module and share a unified window rhythm. Micro loggias oriented towards the centre act as a unifying element, enabling individual use and gradual transformation of façades. Hierarchy is expressed by the king and queen figures with an elevated ground floor and distinct layouts, while the other buildings feature a high ground floor with flexible use. The orientation of the buildings strengthens the inner park and the legibility of the overall system.
