BALLET SCHOOL

Růžová Street is located at the intersection with Jindřišská, a busy artery in the heart of Prague, through which crowds pass daily. The ballet school project was designed with sensitivity to the local context, as the surrounding neighborhood offers numerous educational and cultural institutions, which the school complements. Given the high concentration of tourists in this area, a cozy café is planned on the ground floor, oriented toward a quiet garden in the inner courtyard. The central idea of the project is the visual connection between the dancers and the street. The main windows of the dance halls are cantilevered from the façade and oriented toward Jindřišská Street. Passersby can watch the artists during training, creating an inspiring dialogue between the interior and city life
