Annotation
We are giving “D” a new life. The project connects all parts of the the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Klokner Institute, creating an open and flexible environment for students and staff. The existing structure is preserved and complemented by a timber extension and a new hall. The study space becomes the main connection point and the start of a new circulation axis leading through Building D to Bílá Street, forming a public space for both students and visitors. The building responds to the surrounding terrain in form and function. Its industrial-scientific character is defined by the façade and five atriums that bring daylight and divide the interior.
