VRŠOVICKÁ HOUSING
Annotation
In the wider center of Prague, on the outskirts of Vršovice, on the border of Nusle and Vinohrady, there is a place that, despite its location and good service, looks more like a periphery. The aim of the work is to integrate the place into the urban structure, effectively use its potential and design economic, but at the same time quality and comfortable housing.
I work with the thesis that more entities with a real interest in quality housing without the need for profit from construction in cooperation with the city will be involved in the project. For example, people would invest in their future apartments in the form of cooperatives, where they would live themselves, and the city would get qualitatively equivalent apartments within the same complex.
